Rhonda Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass
One year ago right about now, I was being wheeled into the OR to have my Gastric Bypass done. How much a year has changed! Thought I may wish to have lost a little more this year, 93 lbs is nothing short of a miracle.
Being down to about 170 – 175 range is a miracle to me. I wanted to send you and all the staff there a big thank you. I was looking at pre opp pictures of myself last night to make a little “No Snacking” sign (I thought that would be a good deterrent to stick that on the fridge door”…and I almost cried! I have attached a before and after photo here, and just looking at this I can tell how much healthier I am. I truly believe this has saved my life, and all of you at the office deserve a big

I have lost 65 pounds myself and I couldn’t be happier or feel any better. I still have a long ways to go, but I’m going to do it.
I think that those of us who have had bariatric surgery have sort of a community of sorts because we all know the struggles that we have gone through and the victories that we are now achieving in so many ways.

OMG – That is me up there…i had no idea it was being published, and then i get a phone call on my cell saying good job…too funny. I should read these things as soon as they are sent to us in email!!
