Bariatric Surgery for Health Corporation of America (HCA) Employees

If you are an HCA employee interested in weight loss surgery, Weight Loss Specialists of North Texas can help you meet the requirements of your insurance for coverage of your treatment.

Our medical insurance specialists are familiar with your insurance and will help patients who qualify for bariatric surgery meet documentation and presurgical criteria.

Weight Loss Specialists of North Texas has designed a medically supervised presurgical weight loss program specifically for HCA employees.  This program includes:

1. Lifestyle education
2. Dietary counseling by a licensed dietitian
3. Activity and exercise counseling
4. Letter of surgery request sent to your insurance on completion of the program

Distance Education Program for Out of State patients

Patients who cannot attend our regular presurgical education program have the choice of participating in a distance program that uses telephone counseling with Weight Loss Specialists of North Texas' staff and medical monitoring by your primary care physician.  Although you must attend an initial consultation at our office, for you convenience we are usually able to offer our bariatric surgery seminar and the surgical consultation on the same day.
