Leah Stephenson
Leah is the Program Director for the Weight Loss Specialists of North Texas and Dr. Stewart's Bariatric Coordinator. Leah is herself a bariatric surgery success story. She had Roux-en-y Gastric bypass in July of 2001. Leah has been involved in the medical field for many years, and considers herself lucky to be able to help others strive for- and reach- their weight loss and lifestyle goals.

Sue Bose NP
Sue Bose is a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in weight management. She graduated from the Nurse Practitioner program at Marquette University in Milwaukee Wisconsin in May 2003. She has been a nurse for over 30 years. Sue has a desire to help people obtain their weight loss goals and to maintain their weight loss, lifelong.

Chrys Ealey R.N.
Chrys is the Nursing Director of the Weight Loss Specialists of North Texas practice. She has been a key member of the bariatric surgery team since 1990. She graduated from nursing school in 1974. Before joining Weight Loss Specialists of North Texas, Chrys served as Head Nurse for the medical floor of Denton Regional Medical Center from 1980-1990. She really enjoys following our patients progress and giving advice and encouragement.

Juanita Gonzales
Juanita serves as our Billing and Insurance Coordinator. She has worked in the medical field for over 20 years. Juanita came to Weight Loss Specialists of North Texas in 1998. Juanita is a big asset to our practice because of her bilingual skills which allow us to better serve the community. She is enjoying all the challenges of a bariatric practice.

Rose Bilyeu
Rose is the Weight Loss Specialists of North Texas Office Manager; she joined our bariatric surgery team in 1997. Rose has worked in the medical field for over 40 years. She strives to make our patients feel as welcome, informed, and comfortable as possible during each visit to our office.

Melinda Mangrum
Melinda is Business Manager for Weight Loss Specialists of North Texas. She grew up in Denton surrounded by the medical community, as she is Dr Charney's middle child. She joined the Weight Loss Specialists of North Texas bariatric surgery team in 2004.
